Meiri Umino tapped her finger against her knee, humming to the song than played in the radio happily. She giggled nervously. She was going back! She could have fun there again! No more being in the lab for a long time! ... She could probably see HIM again! Meiri giggled again, which encited a look from the current driver, a slightly shorter woman than her, with silver hair and bright grey eyes. - ... Meiri-chan? Are you ok? You are acting odd...- Meiri blinked, and smiled over at her friend. - Ok? I'm feeling GREAT Hikari! I've waited for this for so long.... ^_^" Hikari looked worried. - But... aren't you worried? That portal that was reported found maybe isn't what you expect...- Meiri grinned. - I have a good feeling about this.- - But...- - But nothing! Trust me on this Hikari! ^-^- Meiri giggled again. - ... The doctors will be upset...- Meiri stuck out her tongue out at her. - What they don't know, won't harm them, will it? ^_^- Hikari blinked a bit. - But... - And if anybody asks you, I never told you where I asked you to take me ^_^- - ... OK...- Hikari sighed a bit, giving up. About an hour later, Hikari and Meiri got down from the vehicle, and stepped closer to the cave where the portal had been reported. The same portal that noone but the doctors were SUPPOSED to know about. Both girls could see the a bright... swirling... thing... in it. Meiri grinned, and stepped forward. - ... Meiri?- Hikari said, softly. Meiri blinked, and turned around to face Hikari. - Um... promise me you'll return safely, ok?- Meiri... grinned. - I will! Don't worry about me! And cheer up! You are supposed to be the First Light Child! the cheerful one! ^_^- Hikari allowed herself to smile, slightly. Meiri grinned, and walked right into the cave, towards the portal. Hikari watched her go, and her smile dissapeared. - ... Good luck.- That said, Hijari turned back to the vehicle, and sped off.
