"Mom! Its been roughly two months since you returned from that place, and you want to go BACK?" Mar smiled to her eldest daughter. "Oh, don't worry Zim, now that I know how to do a portal here, I can travel back and forth if I suceed at doing this" Zim looked worried. "But... what about if you get carted off someplace else? Again? You were gone for half a year!" Mar smiled. "Then I'll just find my way back here again! Now, stand back and let me try this..." Zim sighed in resignation, and flopped down on the bed. Mar murmured a long incantation under her breath, and lifted her sword over her head, before finally bringing it down in front of her. Zim could see the thin blue line form into the air, and sighed. "I guess it worked..." "... hmm... maybe. The portal should be formed tomorrow, I think I'll get some sleep now ^_^" Zim gave her mother a look, and stomped out of the room "Fine, be that way." Mar shook her head and layed on the bed, closing her eyes. Next day, Zim walked into Mar's room. Her mother was downstairs, eating breakfast ("can't do a trip hungry, can I? ^_^"). She stared at the nor fully formed portal, and frowned slightly. She -really- wished she knew a way to collapse the damn thing, they only gave her and Mia headaches and worries. She leaned forward slightly, looking at the portal intently. The deep, swirling blue color dizzied her, and she tried to incorporate a bit. "Zim! What are you doing?" She suddenly heard coming from behind. She quickly turned around, to face a blinking Mar. This, unfortunately, also made her loose her still slightly off balance equilibrium, and she tumbled backwards... and into the portal. Mar blinked a bit,a nd rushed to the portal... which quickly collapsed upon itself. "... oh dear... I guess it wasn0t stable... Zim is going to throw a fit when I get her out." However, it also occured to her that if the portal collapsed so quickly, it might be a bad idea to try and create another one immediately. Mar sighed, and quickly turned to the book. She needed to find a new portal spell.
